THE WINALPINE MISSION
To achieve and maintain the highest quality of coaching, personal attention, and guidance for all of our athletes.

Our focus on safety, athletes’ well-being, health and balance on / off snow is essential and unparalleled to any program you will find in the area. Our coaches are not volunteers, they have the ski coaching/racing, training and experience to offer exceptional possibilities for younger athletes.

WinAlpine is the combination of two separate, yet cooperating programs. Our 2024/25 opportunities create flexibility for your family and the ability to find a program that works for your schedule and budget.

WinAlpine Race is focused on the more advanced ski racers who wish to compete at the USS&S level competing locally at USSS Central Region 3 all the way to Junior Olympics at the USSS Rocky Central competition. As racers develop in their skills, it is the job of our coaches to meet them where they are at and help them to get to where they want to go! Our consistent and talented coaches provide on-time immediate feedback- personalized to each racers’ needs.

WinAlpine JDT is an introductory race program for young athletes who want to learn the skills and techniques of ski racing. We create a safe progressive learning environment and race opportunities. Athletes can ski in the JDT program until they move to WinAlpine Race or join a High School Racing program; up to and including age 14. WinAlpine JDT trains locally, offering optional race travel no further than 3 hours from Grand Rapids.
