Good Faith Policy for Race Team
Our Good Faith Policy will help you feel safe enrolling in, training with, and investing in ski racing with WinAlpine Race Team.
Only a $100 deposit is needed to register. Full payment is due before your first training day. Full refund is only possible prior to the first day of training in the enrolled program. Race team’s first day on snow is tentatively scheduled (weather dependent) for the first weekend in December. (Location TBD). Tuition fees are non-refundable after the first day of training, regardless of the racers participation on the first day.
If the minimum number of snow days (training & racing) is not met during the season, a pro-rated amount will be returned to each participant. The proration will be based on 40% of tuition being non-refundable and the 60% balance of tuition will be prorated on the number of days we were/are able to be on snow subtracted from the minimum number of days expected to be on snow. The number of snow days is a combination of training days and race days. For Example: the number of minimum days for Race Team bronze was 36 days and Race Team Silver was 40 days for the 2024 season. The maximum (expected) number of days on snow was around 75 days including championship events.
For example: if Race Team Full can only offer 12 training or race days (1/3) in the season then 24 (2/3) training days would be refundable from the 60% balance ($1200) resulting in a $800 refund.
Example 2: if Race Team Max can only offer 20 training or race days (1/2) then 20 (1/2) training days would be refundable from the 60% balance ($1560) resulting in a $780 refund.
Our Good Faith Policy is applicable to all acts of God, Mother Nature and operation of resorts in our region.
Alpine Officials Clinic: TBD
Region 3 Race Schedule: TBD
All race locations in Region 3 are within approximately and hour of Schuss Mountain and we encourage athletes not competing to train with Race Team Coaches at Schuss on their off days.

Equipment fitting
This is the time to check your equipment and ensure it is all safe, sound, and the proper size. We have great resources to help you make the right choice for equipment and get set up for next season. It is never too early to get your equipment ready for next season. If you have questions (do not be shy, it is better to prepare equipment now than when we have snow), email Nicole Peterson or Scott Winquist a list of your current/last year's equipment, your racers YOB, name, size, and weight. Ski racing is made great when we make the best choices to prepare ourselves for future success.
